The equestrian sport consists of the jumper class, which this photo shows and the hunter class which focuses more on style and finesse. The jumper class races time and the amount of hurtles jumped over without knocking the bars off. To watch these riders and their beautiful horses is a site to see and the sport does not abuse the horses. In fact they are taken care of like they were children. One of the major equestrian sport complexes is in Wellington, Florida which is where the photo was taken. Watching this sport is so beautiful it is hard to concentrate on the mechanics of the photography. I'll be back 8-)
